New Delhi: Actor Tiger Shroff, a self-acclaimed fan of pop star Michael Jackson, paid tribute to his idol on his 10th death anniversary with a special dance number.

Tiger took to Instagram to post a heartfelt note for Michael Jackson and added a video of himself dancing to Ranveer Singh's 'Khalbali' song from the film 'Padmaavat'. The steps though are inspired by the pop star's famous break-dancing style. 

"Can't believe it's been 9 years already. I’m sure even Khilji would've offered you his throne. #kingofkings @michaeljackson #rip #gonetoosoon," read Tiger's post, in which he also tagged Ranveer. 

Ranveer, who played Alauddin Khilji in 'Padmaavat', quickly posted a comment on the video and wrote, "Habibiiii... Nayaab moves." Many other celebrities have also commented on Tiger's post and appreciated his dance moves.

The challenge expects participants to place a bottle on a solid surface with the cap loosely twisted shut. They then have to untwist the cap with a back-spin kick without using their hands to touch the bottle.

Sharing a video of himself performing the challenge, Tiger shared that he was inspired by actor Donni Yen to take on the challenge.

Remembering his mentor as part of `Super Teacher` trend, Shroff feels that it was his good fortune that made him meet his `Super Teacher` - Paresh, before entering into the B-town.#MySuperTeacher - my dance guru #Paresh sir, was lucky enough to find him just before my debut. Starting the trend, which is about remembering the most influential people in one`s life, the 45-year-old actor, shared a heartfelt note on Friday, for his grandfather and his speech therapist, who helped him overcome his stammering problem as a kid.

In Bollywood's age of publicity overkill, YRF feel such a departure from norms can only help build up curiosity.

"A film like the one I am doing with Hrithik Sir is definitely something that could not have been made without one another. It is rare to find the correct permutation and combination and the right script that allows both of us to express our potential in our respective ways," Tiger told IANS recently, about the film. 

The film directed by Siddharth Anand is touted as an action thriller.

Siddharth shared that the team wanted to keep everything under wraps because "in spite of tremendous pressure from fans of both the stars, it was a conscious decision to not put out any official pictures of the film and not even announce its title. We want maximum impact on the day of the launch."

The teaser of the film will drop soon but fans are yet to know how the film looks like. Hrithik and Tiger are rumoured to be sporting interesting looks but all visuals have been kept under wraps. Unconfirmed reports a while back claimed the film is called "Fighters" but Tiger subsequently refuted such talk as false, and speculation is on among fans over what the film might be called.

According to a source in the film unit, producer Aditya Chopra wants nothing about the film to be revealed before the first official promotional asset drops. The strategy to build secrecy around the project was therefore created to raise anticipation and continuously garner hype. 

"The makers wanted to position the promise of two of the biggest action heroes of our generation --- Hrithik and Tiger --- taking on each other. Thus, the working title 'Hrithik vs Tiger' came into existence. 

"The working title has been widely publicised because the makers wanted just one simple thing --- to register the marketing promise of a showdown between two of the biggest and the best action superstars of Indian cinema," added the source. 

The YRF production also stars Vaani Kapoor and is set to release on October 2.

New Delhi: Desi Greek God Hrithik Roshan and super fit Tiger Shroff have teamed up for 'War' this season. The Yash Raj Films' venture is directed by 'Salaam Namaste' fame filmmaker Siddharth Anand.

The makers had not revealed the title of the film and suspense was maintained over it for the longest. Now, the teaser has been unveiled and we must say that it shouts 'BLOCKBUSTER'.

Mumbai: Bollywood action stars Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff have shot a 'dangerous' bike chase sequence on Portugal`s highest mountain peak Serra da Estrela for their upcoming "War".

"For one big action chase sequence, they had to drive superbikes at high speed on top of the highest mountain range in Portugal called Serra da Estrela. 

"It`s a visually stunning sequence at par with all big action films of Hollywood. Hrithik and Tiger took all necessary training to ride these super-fast bikes and they pulled off the sequence with elan," director Siddharth Anand said in a statement. 

Serra da Estrela stands at 1,993 metres (6,539 feet) above sea level. 

'War' is "an adrenaline-pumping action film that will keep you on the edge of your seats with its action sequences", Anand added.

"As our title suggests, Hrithik and Tiger wage a war against each other and they are constant, massive showdowns between the two," he said.

'War' is set to be a visual spectacle for quintessential action cinema lovers as they would witness Hrithik and Tiger pull off jaw-dropping sequences as they try to beat each other. 

Produced by Yash Raj Films, the high-octane film that also stars Vaani Kapoor opposite Hrithik Roshan is set to release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
